Olympic Village, Seoul, South Korea

Betty was invited by the National Museum of Contemporary Art to build “Kaikoo IX” for the International Olympic Workshop in Seoul, South Korea, in 1987.

Bratislava, Slovakia

“Tiron IV” was commissioned in 1997 by the United States Embassy as a gift to the President of Bratislava, Slovakia. It was dedicated in a ceremony by the Ambassador and now stands in the Presidential Palace Gardens in the City of Bratislava.

Reagan Building, Los Angeles

“Redwood Moonrise” is a monumental fountain commissioned by the State of California, in conjunction with the Los Angeles State Building Authority and the Community Redevelopment Agency of the City of Los Angeles, and was built during the constructed of the Ronald Reagan State Judiciary Courthouse Building in Los Angeles, CA, in 1989-1990.

The piece stands in the entry court of the four story glass enclosed atrium of the Ronald Reagan Building in downtown Los Angeles, where it was unveiled on October 26, 1990, by The Honorable George Deukmejian, Governor of California, in a dedication ceremony presided over by The Honorable Ronald Wilson Reagan, President of the United States.

Palma de Mallorca, Spain

Commissioned for the Universiada ’99, Ajuntament de Palma de Mallorca, “Tiron I” stands on the Esplanade at the foot of the medieval walls of the City of Palma de Mallorca, Spain.
